For most of my career, I worked with companies that had strong strategies but struggled to consistently turn them into execution. Over three decades leading technology and product organizations, I helped companies navigate growth and major inflection points, from startup environments to billion-dollar scale. I became the person executives turned to when strategy needed to become reality.
The problem wasn’t strategy. It was that the leadership operating model wasn’t aligned with what the organization was trying to accomplish.
Organizations didn’t lack ambition or capable leaders. The way executive teams actually operated often worked against the strategy they were trying to deliver. Priorities shifted, alignment drifted, and leaders spent more time recalibrating than executing.
That realization led me to found Velyn Operating Partners and develop the Adaptive Execution Model: a structured approach that helps leadership teams realign how they operate as their organizations evolve. The leaders I work with today are navigating execution pressure, rising expectations, and operating models that no longer fit the demands of the business. Through the Adaptive Execution Model, they move from stalled momentum to confident forward progress. Strategy is no longer working against how their organization operates. It is reinforced by it.
